Established as a family business in 1986, under the name R.H.Gillard & Sons Pty Ltd by the founding father Ron Gillard Snr. who was the recipient of the Pride of Workmanship Award. He quickly built the company a reputation for building quality custom luxury homes and boutique units for some of Sydney’s elite, the companies client list included names such as Maggi Eckardt, Australia’s first model to conquer the elite world of haute couture fashion, and Trevor Kennardy, businessman, collector of Australian history treasures, and company director.

After serving his apprenticeship under the meticulous guidance of his father, Ron Gillard Jnr. took the years of experience spent with his fathers dedication to detailed construction into other building industries. Moving from site management to project management, Ron found himself running large scale commercial and refurbishment projects. It wasn’t until he was asked to build a $9 million new custom luxury home he realised where his true passion remained.
